Risk Engine Playground OPEN BETA

What just happened

The request the playground sends contains only your positions - the symbol, the contracts and the quantities. It carries no spot and no impliedVol. The engine resolves the live spot for each symbol and the live implied vol for each strike, then runs the analysis. If you would rather pin those values yourself, for a what-if or a back-test, supply them explicitly and the engine uses yours untouched.

Everything the playground shows comes back in one response: coverage and structure flags, dollar greeks per symbol and for the book, sized hedges, and the optional metrics block with max loss, breakevens, VaR and CVaR.

Beta notes

• Any authenticated key works during the open beta, every plan included. At GA the Risk Engine becomes part of the Growth plan and above.
• Rate limited to 60 requests per minute per key. The chain lookup that fills these dropdowns counts against your normal API quota.
• Analyzed requests are recorded during the beta (key hash, positions posted, results) so we can see which risk checks matter most.
• Resolving spot and implied vol needs your plan to have access to the underlying quote endpoints. If a lookup is unavailable you get a spot_unavailable or iv_unavailable error naming exactly which input to supply.
