Standard subscription tiers (Free, Basic, Growth, Alpha) are licensed for personal or single-team use on shared infrastructure only and do not include redistribution.

Yes. The Startups Plan is $599/mo (or $479/mo billed annually) and gives early-stage companies Growth-equivalent request quotas and analytics scope at a discounted rate. Redistribution is allowed up to defined caps so startups can ship a public product (paid newsletter, SaaS dashboard, trading room) on shared infrastructure. Eligibility: company under 3 years old, under $2M revenue, under 500 paying customers / subscribers. Once you scale past these caps you upgrade to the Alpha Node tier ($3,999/mo, or $3,199/mo annual) for dedicated infrastructure and uncapped redistribution.

What are the rate limits on Startups Plan, and how do I scale beyond them?
Startups Plan base limits are 2,500 requests / day with a 60 requests / minute burst ceiling, matching the Growth tier. If you need more headroom, pay-as-you-grow lets you stack +300 req/day for +$100/mo per increment, no contract change required. The pay-as-you-grow path is for tactical scaling while you stay inside Startups eligibility caps (under 500 paying customers, under $2M revenue, under 3 years old). Once you exceed those caps, or you need uncapped requests, dedicated infrastructure, or custom SLA, upgrade either to Quant Pro ($2,999/mo, dedicated server, single-team licence, no redistribution) or to Alpha Node ($3,999/mo = Quant Pro + a $1,000/mo redistribution add-on) depending on whether you redistribute the data. Can FlashAlpha provide streaming analytics over WebSocket or Server-Sent Events?
Yes, on custom commercial arrangements. FlashAlpha pushes GEX, DEX, VEX, CHEX, max pain, vol surface, and dealer-positioning updates to your stack as they refresh, removing the need to poll. WebSocket and Server-Sent Events channels are scoped per deployment alongside dedicated nodes.

Can FlashAlpha build custom metrics or proprietary signals into our endpoint?
Yes. On custom commercial arrangements FlashAlpha builds bespoke aggregates, derived signals, custom strike or expiration bucketing, proprietary scoring, and feature engineering on top of the raw chain. Custom fields are exposed on your endpoint and queried like any other field, so your client integration is unchanged.

Does FlashAlpha support dedicated nodes, on-prem, or private-cloud deployment?
Yes. Dedicated nodes ship as part of the Alpha Node tier and provide isolated compute, predictable latency, reserved capacity, and no noisy-neighbour effects. License options include gamma exposure (GEX) by strike and full-chain, delta exposure (DEX), vanna exposure (VEX), charm exposure (CHEX), key levels (gamma flip, call wall, put wall), max pain with pain curve and pin probability, 0DTE analytics (pin risk, expected move, gamma regime), SVI vol surfaces with calibrated parameters and arbitrage detection, higher-order Greeks (vanna, charm, volga, speed), VRP analytics, dealer-positioning regimes, and Historical API replay since 2018. FlashAlpha is the only public source for aggregate charm and vanna exposure.

Can I white-label FlashAlpha analytics inside a brokerage or trading platform?
Yes. White-label arrangements are covered under the Alpha Node redistribution license or a custom enterprise tier, depending on volume and surface. Brokerages, trading platforms, and broker-dealers can embed FlashAlpha exposure analytics, max pain, and vol-surface displays under their own branding. Custom enterprise terms scope SLA, branding rules, and territory.

What is the SLA / uptime guarantee for commercial customers?
Standard Alpha plans include a 99.9% uptime SLA. Alpha Node and custom enterprise arrangements include custom SLA terms with reserved capacity, predictable latency, and priority routing. Multi-region failover and elevated uptime targets (99.95%+) are available on custom enterprise contracts.

Who needs a commercial license vs a personal plan?
You need a commercial license if you display, publish, email, embed, resell, or white-label FlashAlpha-derived data to customers, readers, subscribers, or members. Personal use, single-team internal trading, and individual research are covered by standard plans (Free, Basic, Growth, Alpha).
